Dr. Patel, who received his PhD from Oxford University, is the Executive Director of the Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC), based in Chicago, Illinois. IFYC activities include service learning, networking, and building capacity with an expanding set of interfaith youth groups. Pluralism Project funding will support their second conference in the spring of 2004. Please check back for reporting from the proceedings from the conference and on the developing groups. An expanding list of profiles of the interfaith youth groups involved will follow.

On Thursday, March 11, 2004, Dr. Patel presented his speech, "Of Visions, Methodologies and Movements: Interfaith Youth Work in the 21st Century," at the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard.
