I am Elinor Dashwood!
                                                                                         Take the Quiz here!

I am into watching soccer and the WNBA Silver Stars!  (Check out my WNBA Blog.) My favorite poem is by Thomas Hardy, but I love Wilfred Owen.  My hobby is my website, which is a passion with me.  It has led me to make a lot of new friends off-line.  So much for the isolating power of the Internet . . .

I retired from my job as federal webmaster and now spend my days playing with dogs, gardening, and evading fire ants - sometimes.  I am a Red Hatter too . . . and a big fan of the WNBA Silver Stars.

I am very proud of starting an online group to match animals found after Katrina with their owners.  We call ourselves Stealth Volunteers.

I'm a Hoosier Cowgirl who went to Mississinewa High School in Gas City and to DePauw University but my heart belongs to Bobby.

I listen to Sue Keller.  Half my e-mail goes .  Most people don't know I write.  My dogs Crockett & Guinness have a website & they still hang out with me, so I must be cool!  I love Margie Egee's paintings of wildflowers.  My friend from Liverpool, just across the pond, John Williams, has a book about his beloved city! Kay Johnson is a friend of mine and an incredible artist.

I owe a debt to Attorney Scott Hendler of Austin and highly recommend him.  He is not just an attorney, but a mensch.  Also many thanks to Tara Austin of his staff.

Here is some really personal stuff about me . . .

GO MUDLARKS!!
