Vajra Vidya was established by the Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, an eminent meditation master and high scholar of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, who has been leading annual retreats in the Portland area since 1996.Activities and Schedule
Vajra Vidya Portland is a study group that meets weekly for meditation practice and discussion of a dharma reading. Newcomers are welcome, and meditation instruction is provided at no charge. The group also offers introductory meditation classes several times a year.
Note that the Maine annual retreat is scheduled for September 18-27, 2004 in Topsham, ME.
