Through the practices of meditation, chanting, selfless service, and contemplation, we seek to uncover the true purpose of our lives, to experience our own divinity, to know God. The Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Greater Boston is a place for people to come together and engage in these practices.

In 1978 Khaniqahi Nimatullahi House of Sufism was organized and opened by then Master of the Nimatullahi Order, Dr. Javad Nurbakhsh. Since that time the House of Sufism in Boston’s South End has been a meeting place for the those interested in the spiritual teachings of the Sufi Path. Gatherings for meditation are twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

Unitarian Universalism affirms the worth of human beings, advocates freedom of belief and the search for advancing truth, and tries to provide a warm, open, supportive community for people who believe that ethical living is the supreme witness of religion.

The Jain Center of Greater Boston (JCGB) was the first Jain Center of its kind in North America when it was established in 1973. Ever since then, the center has played a pivotal and pioneering role in advancing Jain thought and philosophy in North America and strengthening the roots of the Jain community in the region. Today JCGB serves over 300 families in the Greater Boston area comprising of eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and Vermont, and Rhode Island. JCGB conducts a Jain Pathshala (school of philosophy and practices) to ensure that the practice of Jainism is imprinted upon generations to come.

The Community strives to introduce the values and philosophy of Humanistic Buddhism to the congregation and the community, by providing educational opportunities, sponsoring cultural events, engaging in charity work, and conducting religious and meditation services.

In this degenerate age the demon is strong and the Dharma is weak. Attached to machine technology, we lose our true self, lose the true way and cannot find true life and true direction of consciousness. This world is full of suffering, complications and fighting amongst us. Soon humanity will disappear by itself. Unable to witness this suffering, we rise up with vigor, establish Shim Gum Do and use the Buddha's Great Vow of Great Love and Great Compassion so that we may give the Bright Dharma to all ignorant beings. Shim is Buddha, which is clear like space. Gum is Dharma, which is the correct function of energy. Do is Sangha, which is Great Love and Great Compassion.

To work toward a fundamental shift in U.S. and international culture - from isolation, violence, and war to interconnectedness, nonviolence, and peace.

Serlingpa Meditation Center, located in downtown New Bedford, Massachusetts, offers weekly classes, daily prayers with meditation, workshops, and retreats.  Since Buddhist teachings and practices can be understood and applied by everyone, regardless of experience or religious background, anyone can find practical benefit at our classes, workshops, and events.

The Boston Bahá’í Center serves the administrative and spiritual needs of Bahá’ís throughout Greater Boston. It also provides collective worship and spiritual education for children, youth, and adults that is open to all.

SSOMIT is a unique opportunity for the nonreligious to meet and learn from each other.
Meetings are open to anyone who would like to explore secular outlooks on life, or just wants to gain an understanding of their perspectives.

SSOMIT works to promote the ideals of humanism; including morality, responsibility for personal actions, rational scientific thought, and the inherent worth and equality of all humanity.

SSOMIT provides an open and supportive environment for atheists, agnostics, humanists, and other students skeptical of religious claims to discuss issues of relevance to freethinkers. Discussion groups meet weekly.

Many members want to give back to the community. The Society organizes service events to go out and help people or clean up the environment.

SSOMIT organizes a variety of social activities throughout the year, such as pizza and movie nights, joint meetings with other groups, study breaks, and retreats.

The Anna Howard Shaw Center at Boston University School of Theology promotes structures and practices that empower women and honor diversity. … Ecumenical in its activities, the Center’s primary goals are in the four following areas: Research ...; Education ...; Support...; and Advocacy.

Interfaith Social Services was established in 1947 as a cooperative effort of Protestant churches in Quincy to provide much needed counseling and child placement services for children in trouble.
