The Mission of Union United Methodist Church is to make Disciples of Jesus Christ who like Jesus, will be Spirit-Guided and Vision-Driven in Service to the Needs of Persons in the Communities of the City of Boston and Beyond.

Union Baptist Church is a lighthouse, beaming the transforming power of the Gospel to guide and anchor the moral and spiritual foundations of our nation. We are envoys of the Holy Ghost, breaking down walls of social partition, so that the church can be in the commmunity and the community in the church. Our fellowship is a welcome table for the world, leaving no heart who comes near uninvited, uninspired, unchallenged or unchanged when we worship God.

In view of the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20) in thanksgiving for His great love to us, and in obedience to the Word of God, the mission of Twelfth Baptist Church is:  To extend the love of God, through proclaiming the Good News and providing Christ-centered ministries to meet the temporal needs of the people whom God loves; To build up the body of Christ through prayer, fellowship, teaching and exercising our faith; and To worship God in our corporate and individual lives.

We focus on being a "Word-knowing church." Knowing the Word will help us help others. Knowing the Word will help us to live the lives that God want us to live and will give us encouragement in trying times.

Our focus is on outreach and youth ministry. Our ministry emphasizes fulfilling both the spiritual and natural needs of mankind, young and old.
