We, the parishioners of Saint Julia Parish, seek to live our belief in Christ as we worship and serve Him according to His example and teachings. With appreciation of the diverse gifts of our individual members, we strive to gain the participation of each parishioner and work to ensure that everyone feels welcome in our community of faithful. We do this while mindful of God's love for us, and the power of His Spirit that makes us holy, heals our brokenness and sustains us in all the good we do. We are committed in the spirit of Christian stewardship, to share generously our time, talent, and treasure to accomplish this.

Our vision is of a true community church reflective & celebrative of our neighborhood's diversity of ethnicity and lifestyle.

We gather at The Crossing to share worship, spiritual practice, transformative action and community – all in a place where ancient traditions meet progressive urban cultures and real life. Every Thursday, we celebrate and catch the Spirit at God’s radically welcoming table. We follow the life-changing, world-changing way of Jesus. Then we head out into the world, forming small groups (click to check out our small groups for 2009), sharing spiritual practices, offering our lives for service and justice, creating beauty and discovering calling … and more.

We are a community bound together by our shared faith in God. We gather weekly, and for many, daily, in worship. We take very seriously our call to discipleship and our obligation to service. Our faith and our worship give us the grace and commitment to go into the world as followers of Jesus Christ.
