| The building eventually became the guesthouse. The bottom floor was the kitchen and laundromat and all the marble used in the palace was cut and polished in workshops here. The second floor was the main dining hall, known as the Prashadam Room. The third and fourth floors were the living quarters. A chimney fire destroyed the fourth floor and they have not been able to rebuild it due to lack of funds. |
This large, pink building originally housed the first residences for married people. As the community grew, up to four families would live together in one room with a common bathroom and kitchen.
