During the Easter Season a passion play is enacted throughout the park twice daily. Starting at the Jerusalem Street Market guests see Jesus brought through the streets, recreating the Stations of the Cross while Roman soldiers taunt and abuse him. Through the use of make up and other effects the character appears bleeding and battered. He is then taken up over the Calvary's Garden tomb exhibit where he is crucified before the audience and proclaimed the King of the Jews.

Various books detailing the Second Coming of Christ on sale at the Old Scroll Shoppe. The late Robert Van Kampen, a former board member and patron of Zion's Hope, wrote The Fourth Reich and The Rapture Question Answered. Van Kampen's antiquities collection is on permanent loan to the Holy Land Experience. On display is also Marvin Rosenthal's Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church. These works make up some of the Christian Zionist writings that detail Judaism's relationship to Evangelical Christian eschatology.

Among the various Israeli made goods on sale at the Old Scroll Book Shoppe are objects used during Jewish holidays and observances. Other products can often be found for sale in Zion's Hope's original Christian bookstore located in the Spanish-Mediterranean styled administrative building.

The Holy Land Experience has been noted for condemning Messianic Judaism as unethical in belief and practice. This, however, has not prevented that sale of Messianic Jewish music written and performed by leading Messianic believers in the Old Scroll Shoppe. Likewise, the opening of the Holy Land Experience was marked by performances by Marty Goetz, a leading Messianic Jewish performer.

Among the Israeli jewelry on sale in a store adjacent to the Old Scroll Shoppe are Stars of David with superimposed crosses and pendants with the facade of the Holy Land Experience recreation.
