A comprehensive reference on this class of ships. The ships entered service in Vietnam with the French Navy, but were transferred to the U.S Navy. It was interesting to find out that we took over equipment from the French. At the end of the war, the remaining ships left with refugees. 2000

Humidity Moon
A collection of short stories detailing the lives of Marine combat infantrymen. Rodriguez served as a rifleman with the 1st Marine Division in Vietnam from 1966 through 1967. Rodriguez writes with a punch and I like his style. He holds your attention. Highly recommended! [see also]

to One Woman's Recovery From War
About a recovering alcoholic and Vietnam veteran with PTSD who was a Navy nurse. It is not about one patient with twelve therapists! Other than the woman's own therapist, the essayists are responding with the program each would suggest based on the case notes they were given. I found it quite interesting.
