Paul Kopsick finished his 12-month tour without major incident. The DD visit was in mid-January 1971 at the headquarters of Battery "B", 4th 60th Artillery AW SP (Dusters and Quads), Artillery Hill, Pleiku, RVN.
Webmaster's editorial note: It sounds to me from reading Paul's letter and knowing that he didn't go to the LZ as he had been advised, but was sent elsewhere to a less dangerous job, that this game playing may have ended in a very good result for him. It isn't inconceivable that they changed their minds about his assignment after seeing how well he did.
