About
Under the guidance of resident teacher Geshe Tsulga, Kurukulla Center's mission is to provide a community of support for those who are studying and practicing the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
History
The Kurukulla Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies was founded in 1989 by Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche, and is also a member of the Foundation for the Preservation of Mahayana Tradition, www.fpmt.org.
Description and Activities
The center's resident teacher is Tibetan Geshe Tsulga (Tsultrim Chopel), who gives regular weekly classes on Tibetan Buddhism in the Gelug tradition. The center also hosts visiting teachers on a regular basis, including the spiritual founder Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and offers introductory and intermediate classes led by senior students.
