AFA: Luncheon and dinner with Congressman Keith Self and the Albanian-American community in Chicago

Albanians for America (AFA) continues expanding its reach across Albanian-American communities throughout the United States, strengthening relationships, building partnerships, and advancing a unified voice for advocacy.
During the week of May 3, AFA had the privilege of hosting meet-and-greet events, including a luncheon and dinner with Congressman Keith Self and members of the Albanian-American community in Chicago. AFA also helped facilitate connections between the Chicago Albanian-American community and their local representative, Congresswoman Delia Ramirez, reinforcing one of AFA’s core missions: building lasting relationships between Albanian-American communities and elected officials across the country.
The visit also included participation in the annual *Mbrëmja Kërçovare 2026*, where AFA members were warmly welcomed by the Chicago Albanian-American community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers, volunteers, community leaders, and sponsors whose efforts made this relationship-building trip possible. Your hospitality, dedication, and commitment to strengthening our community continue to move us forward.
