I am proud to endorse Representative Lisa McClain for re-election to the United States House of Representatives.
Over the years, Congresswoman McClain has demonstrated genuine leadership, deep friendship, and unwavering dedication to our community. As Co-Chair of the Congressional Albanian Issues Caucus, she has been a steadfast champion for the sovereignty, security, and Euro-Atlantic integration of Kosovo, while consistently standing up for the broader interests of Albanians across the Balkans and here in the United States. Her clear stance on strengthening the friendship between our nations and ensuring stability in Southeast Europe has earned her the profound respect and gratitude of our people. She has a great working relationship with local leaders in Michigan, which is home to the second largest Albanian-American community in the United States.
In a recent meeting led by the Albanian American Relations Council (AARC), I raised the issue of the systematic violation of Albanian minority rights in Serbia and advocated for equal treatment and parity with the Serbian community in Kosovo. I am deeply grateful for her attention to this crucial matter. I was particularly impressed by the Congresswoman’s clear understanding of the necessity of Kosovo’s NATO membership—a vital safeguard against the growing influence of Russia, China, and Iran in the region.
In Washington, Lisa McClain has distinguished herself as Chair of the House Republican Conference—making her the highest-ranking Republican woman in the U.S. House of Representatives. In this national role, she works on the front lines to defend American national security, protect core constitutional rights, restore fiscal discipline, and secure our borders. Her leadership in shaping key legislative victories—from pro-growth economic reforms to cut inflation to policy measures defending American families—has made a lasting impact across the entire nation.
Leveraging over 30 years of private sector experience, Lisa has been a tireless champion for workers, small businesses, and Main Street USA. She has consistently earned recognition from national groups like the National Federation of Independent Business and the National Retail Federation for fighting to lower taxes, slash burdensome regulations, and unleash economic opportunity for all working families. Beyond the economy, co-chairing the Bipartisan Task Force on Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder reflects her deep personal commitment to combating drug abuse and supporting vulnerable families nationwide.
Her commitment, however, always comes back to the people she serves. Lisa McClain remains a relentless advocate for her constituents, bringing her practical business acumen to deliver strong local infrastructure, job opportunities, and a higher quality of life for families across her district and throughout Michigan.
I urge my fellow Albanian-Americans and all voters across Michigan’s 9th Congressional District to join me in supporting Congresswoman Lisa McClain for re-election.
